Drug Screening - Frequently Asked Questions and Support

Not only does American DataBank provide Criminal Searches and Verifications, but we also offer Drug Screening and Physical Testing. We work very closely with laboratories located throughout the United States and process almost 1000 drug screenings per month. Our Drug Screening Specialists will rigorously monitor your account and will answer any of your questions. Please note, if you are using other drug screening companies, we will match or even lower your drug screening costs.

Step-By-Step Standard Drug Screen Collections:

1. Provide the Chain of Custody form to your applicant prior to the Drug Test.
   (American DataBank will provide your forms upon request).

2. The applicant goes to the laboratory. The nearest locations are provided by American DataBank or from the laboratory web site.

3. After collecting the specimen, the courier transports the specimen to the testing center within 24 hours.

4. Positive results can be sent to the Medical Review Officer to verify any medical reasons why the drug screen came back positive.

5. Testing can take 24-48 hours depending on the test conducted before the results are reported to American DataBank.

• Provides the facility information: name, address, and phone number
• Date and time of collection

This allows American DataBank to provide results as soon as they are received. Results from Applicants that have not been entered into the American DataBank system are checked throughout the week. American DataBank will contact you regarding drug screen results that have not been entered into the system. If the applicant has not been entered after 30 days, American DataBank will enter the results with an additional $2.00 entry fee.
