The information collected is only utilized for the purposes of completing the background check. If you do not wish to have your information made available to your current employer, perspective employer, school administrator, our agents or anyone else then please do not authorize them to receive a report from American DataBank.

Users who wish to opt-out of any use of information collected by American DataBank can notify us through the contact information on our site that the permission for the use of the data is withdrawn. Please note that this does not mean that the data is erased or deleted, our service requires that we maintain the data for a period of time for your protection and for the applicable statute of limitations required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

American DataBank will provide access to the information obtained for the background check report, providing the opportunity to review the information and to request corrections, amendments or to delete inaccurate information. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act you are entitled to a copy of the background check report and disclosure is under the guidance of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Enforcement

American DataBank uses a self-assessment approach to assure compliance with our privacy policy and it is periodically reviewed and updated for accuracy, accessibility and conformity with the principles. American DataBank will investigate and attempt to resolve any disputes or complaints regarding the use and disclosure of information provided by our users.
